Jon has worked in Wisconsin litigation and personal injury law exclusively since graduating from Marquette Law School in 2000. Jon’s office has handled every type of injury case you might imagine including auto and motorcycle collisions, product liability cases, civil litigation, nursing home neglect, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, and even animal attacks. Joh is the National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers (NAMIL) lawyer representing Wisconsin.
Jon was named a Rising Star as well as a “Super Lawyer” and is a very proud Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. As the son of a Milwaukee Firefighter and Nursing home care aide, Jon knows the value of hard work and what it means to understand people and their needs.
Jon grew up in the City of Milwaukee and when he isn’t busy practicing law, he is teaching other attorneys in his hometown legal community. Jon is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American Association of Justice.
Jon is a frequent lecturer to local and state bar associations on topics related to personal injury litigation, when he isn’t lecturing Jon has been teaching at Cardinal Stritch University since 2008 as an adjunct professor. Jon’s firm is also the “expert” on a monthly Q&A Call in Radio show called “Your Expert Hour” that airs Sunday mornings on Radio 920.
Jon is the proud father to three boys and When there’s a spare moment to be had, Jon indulges in the great outdoors of Milwaukee by running or skiing when he and his wife aren’t volunteer at church or hosting Cub Scout Den meetings for their boys.
Jon has dedicated his career to representing plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury law. He has successfully tried cases throughout Wisconsin in both State and Federal Court and has joined the elite few Wisconsin attorneys who have argued before the Wisconsin State Supreme Court. Recent juries have awarded his clients verdicts of $900,000 and $1.2 million. Able to fight for his clients after trial, attorney Groth has successfully fought for his clients on appeal, twice arguing cases before the Wisconsin State Supreme Court.
