J. Christopher Klotz – Pensacola Motorcycle Accident Attorney
Chris was the 2019 President of, and a founder for the
National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers (NAMIL). Chris doesn’t just
represent the industry; he is a biker himself and rides a ’08 Harley Fat Bob.
Chris has always believed that everyday people deserve access to a tenacious
lawyer who is ready and willing to stand up to and challenge adversaries that
sometimes seem more powerful than the people he represents.
“The whole reason I got into the practice of law is to stand up for the little guy.” – Christopher Klotz
Raised in a military family meant Chris and his family were moving
every few years, and that was a powerful influence on who Chris become as an
adult. That experience puts you in a position where you learn quickly how to
make friends and get to know people. That experience also fine-tuned Chris’s
ability to perceive and interpret his surroundings and understand the dynamics
of people around him making him a good listener and influencing his decision to
major in psychology for his undergraduate degree.
Chris’s family had a passion for restoring historic homes
and still live in a house built in 1860. Chris was taught from a young age to
pitch in with painting, sawing, hammering and learnt to build things from a
very young age as family chores. The skills learnt then are his pastime now as
a restorer and furniture builder.
This turned out to be a life lesson. A task once dreaded as
a chore gives you a skill that, in a new or later chapter of life, becomes an
asset. You never know how you will be able to use a skill you pick up because
someone invested the time to teach it to you.
Chris takes his passion into his work as your attorney. He
worries about his clients and thinks about his cases all the time and how he
can better help them with their legal challenges. He is thankful to each of his
clients for the things that he learns from them.
Chris was recognized on the 2020 Florida Super Lawyers list that only 5% of all lawyers in the state of Florida are selected for. He continues to bring the best possible service to his clients!
